Update August 2008

To all people who like to have fun; welcome to a wonderful and fun-packed year of adventures. First thing you need to do is admit that you/or spouse are 50 or older. Then join our group by paying your Renaissance dues of $18/person. Send your check to Temple Beth Miriam – Attention Renaissance.

 Our first event of the year will be held on Sunday night, September 21, 2008 at “Jack’s Rib and Ale House” located at 149 Brighton Ave., Long Branch. Dessert will follow at Rich & Terry Negin’s home at 112 Riviera Drive, Long Branch, which is walking distance from the restaurant. Come and enjoy the shore’s best ribs and/or barbeque chicken while enjoying the company of old and new friends.

Our next event is scheduled for Saturday, November 8, 2008, at our Bingo Dessert Party at the Temple at 7:30. The cost is $20/couple and many chances to win gift certificates to area restaurants; i.e., Kleins, Jimmys, Vivas, & Mike & Nellies. This will be a hilarious and delicious evening with many sweets and entertaining Bob Kellert as our caller.

Future events will include trips, exploring restaurants, hearing speakers, and many surprises. So make sure to join in on the fun to make this the real “senior YOUTH group”
