Fixing the World

2009-2010 is our fourth year of our Kishrei HaLev program in which the B’nai Mitzvah students participate. As part of the Bar/Bat Mitzvah program, the students have the opportunity to work with a member of the Social Action Committee who participate in the Kishrei HaLev program. Kishrei HaLev (Connections of the Heart) enables our students to reach out to others in need with creative and innovative ways to do tzedakah. There have been some wonderful ideas and so, under the tutelage of a Kishrei HaLev advisor, the students help to fix the world. The past year saw some extraordinary projects, as you can see from the list on the left. This year promises even more creative and impactful ways our teens change the world.
