Who We Are
Mission Statement
Our Hebrew School fosters a vibrant, inclusive environment where students build meaningful connections with each other, deepen their ties to our temple, engage with the broader local community, and develop a strong sense of belonging to the global Jewish people. Our goal is to ensure that every student feels seen, valued, and excited to come to school because they know there is someone there they’re happy to see—and who is happy to see them. Through joyful learning, cultural exploration, and shared experiences, we nurture a lifelong Jewish identity rooted in tradition, compassion, and community.
Statement of Inclusivity
Our Hebrew School is a welcoming and inclusive community where individuals of all racial and ethnic backgrounds, financial means, documentation statuses, gender identities, sexual orientations, and family structures are respected and celebrated. We are proud to include and support mixed-faith and interfaith families as full and valued members of our community. We also work closely with students of all learning abilities and needs, including those with disabilities, to ensure each child receives the individualized support necessary to thrive. We embrace diversity in all its forms and are committed to creating a safe, supportive environment where every learner feels seen, heard, and valued as a vital part of our shared Jewish journey.
Statement of Safety
The safety and well-being of our students, families, and staff are our highest priorities. We are committed to creating a secure and nurturing environment where everyone feels safe physically, emotionally, and socially. Our temple is protected by a trained security guard during school hours to help ensure physical safety and peace of mind. In addition, we foster a culture of kindness, respect, and inclusion, and we are proactive in addressing the emotional and mental well-being of every child. From clear safety protocols to caring relationships, we work to make our Hebrew School a place where all students can thrive.
